Ashley Iaconetti on Kids, RHORI, and Needing Help

Ashley Iaconetti is trying to do it all—raising two kids, filming season 2 of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, and managing her social media—while admitting the workload has become too much and she’s now looking to hire help.
For Ashley Iaconetti, the chaos isn’t theoretical. It’s what happens when you’re a mom of two, filming season 2 of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, and still trying to keep up with her social media pages—at the same time.
On Tuesday. May 19. during the “Almost Famous” podcast with Ben Higgins. Iaconetti and Rosie DiMare and Kelsey Swanson were part of the conversation as she recapped an argument from the episode. Higgins, 37, zeroed in on the bigger picture: he asked Iaconetti why she felt like things were “swirling” in her life.
“It’s really hard to be a parent while going through all of this,” Iaconetti said. She’s 38, and she’s balancing her two kids—Dawson, 4, and Hayden, 10 months—with husband Jared Haibon.
Now that she and the show can confirm season 2 filming. she described what’s changed: “Now that we can say [we’re] filming season 2. bracing for that filming. I can’t do it all myself anymore.” The solution. she said. is practical and immediate—she needs an assistant to take pressure off her social media workload.
“You need to have a social media or broadcasting background,” Iaconetti said of the person she’s looking for. “I need somebody who can shoot and edit very well.”
When Higgins responded with a simple “That’s tough. ” he pushed on another concern: whether she regrets signing up for a show that will likely define her in a different way. “I mean, I think the big question was, do you regret filming this?. This is becoming something that you’re going to be known for, maybe more than your time on The Bachelor.”.
Iaconetti didn’t agree that she’ll ever be known more as a Housewife than a member of Bachelor Nation. “I think that was me at my finest reality TV,” she explained. “I’m a totally different person emotionally now. I was only stressed out about romance. I only got into fights about guys. I don’t get triggered enough by friend drama.”.
A few months of her reality TV journey have been anything but seamless. Iaconetti met Haibon, 37, while filming season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise. She arrived hoping to make a romantic connection with him, but he didn’t feel the same. She tried to pursue him again during season 3 of the show, but he still wasn’t interested. She later moved on with Kevin Wendt in 2017. That’s when Haibon realized he actually did have feelings for her.
In May 2018, Iaconetti and Haibon announced they were officially a couple. The following year, Haibon proposed during season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise, getting down on one knee while visiting the contestants. The pair tied the knot in 2019 in Rhode Island.
And even beyond RHORI, Iaconetti’s home life has carried its own emotional weight. Earlier this month, she opened up about being a mom of two boys on Instagram after previously experiencing gender disappointment. In May. she told followers: “To any expectant moms out there who have gender disappointment in having a boy… One of the many wonderful things about having a little boy is that I just had my face held by his little hands and was told many times how beautiful I am.”.

So basically she just needs someone to post for her? Sounds like most influencers lol.
I mean being a mom of 2 is already a lot but why is she acting like the job is impossible when she chose the show. Like, what did she expect? Also RHORI sounds exhausting.
Wait I thought Jared was the one filming and editing?? Like didn’t he do the tech stuff? If not then who’s even managing the kids while she’s on camera, because those dates don’t add up in my head.
Maybe she should just stop filming instead of hiring an assistant to “take pressure off” her social pages. Feels like the podcast is just code for “I’m overwhelmed” and that’s it. I’m not buying the whole ‘need someone with broadcasting background’ thing either, any teenager with an iPhone can edit.
