Apple readies 15 new gadgets as Siri finally lands

Siri beta – Apple’s WWDC may be ending, but the second half of the year is shaping up as a busy rollout. At least 15 new products are expected—from iPhone updates and a foldable iPhone Ultra to a smart home hub—after Apple’s more intelligent, more personal Siri finally ar
WWDC is drawing to a close, but the part that matters for everyday buyers is still coming. In the months ahead. Apple is expected to push at least 15 new products later this year—and the timing is tied to one thing that finally became real: the more intelligent and personal version of Siri reaching beta.
Apple first previewed that upgraded Siri at WWDC 2024. Now, after a full two years, it has arrived in beta. That gap is exactly why many of the devices that had reportedly been held back are now expected to show up—beginning with Apple’s usual September upgrades to iPhones and Apple Watches. and stretching beyond them.
Beyond the iPhone and Apple Watch cycle, there’s also a bigger change in the living room. Apple’s all-new smart home hub is expected to debut later this year. And the company is also expected to update the Apple TV line. HomePod. and HomePod mini—devices that. until now. have been built around older Siri experiences.
Even the longer timeline has its own headline: a redesigned MacBook Ultra with an OLED display is expected by early 2027. For now, though, the focus is on what Apple is preparing to deliver from now into the year’s final stretch.
The phones are where the new Siri story first shows up. Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro is expected to include an A20 Pro chip. a smaller Dynamic Island. a simplified Camera Control button. a Dark Cherry color option. and variable aperture for at least one rear camera. The rumored modem is the Apple C2, with support for 5G web browsing via satellite. iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to share the same core features. but the Pro Max may or may not be slightly thicker.
Then there’s the foldable iPhone Ultra—an idea that has moved from rumor to something closer to a blueprint. It’s expected to have a 7.7-inch inner display and a 5.3-inch outer display. two rear cameras. one front camera. and a Touch ID power button instead of Face ID. Apple is also rumored to be preparing iOS 27 specifically for the foldable format. including support for side-by-side apps and other iPad-like multitasking.
Apple’s smartwatch roadmap remains part of the September rhythm. with the next wave expected to come after the Siri update reaches users in the background. Apple Watches are also expected to be updated with a future chip path that supports the more personalized Siri. continuing the idea that the software upgrade is the engine behind the hardware refresh.
Not everything in the incoming lineup is a phone or watch. Apple TV is expected to receive a hardware update with an A17 Pro chip that’s said to support the more personalized Siri. along with an N1 chip with Wi‑Fi 7 support. A built-in FaceTime camera has been rumored for a future Apple TV. but it is unclear if it will arrive with the next model.
Audio is also in the spotlight. HomePod mini is expected to move to an S9 chip or newer with support for the more personalized Siri. It’s also rumored to include an N1 chip with Wi‑Fi 7 support. improved sound quality. a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip. and potentially new color options like red. HomePod, the full-sized speaker, is expected to get a new model that supports the revamped Siri.
And then there’s the smart home hub—one of the few devices in this rollout that looks built for the center of the room. The Home Hub is expected to be an all-new smart home hub featuring the more personalized version of Siri. a 6-inch to 7-inch square display. and an A18 chip for Apple Intelligence. It’s also expected to include FaceTime and more. with a design intended to be placed on a table or mounted on a wall.
If Apple is right, the story isn’t just about more hardware this year. It’s about aligning an entire ecosystem around Siri’s new capabilities—after two years of waiting since WWDC 2024—so the “personal” part of Siri isn’t just a software promise. but something that shows up across iPhone. Apple TV. HomePod. and a new smart home hub later in the year.
