Apple Card users can earn up to $30 via Uber Eats

Apple Card customers who subscribe to Uber One can earn up to $30 in Uber Cash by paying with Apple Card for eligible grocery and retail purchases through Uber Eats. The promotion runs through August 31 and awards $10 per month in June, July, and August, with
Apple Card users who regularly shop on Uber Eats now have a new reason to open the app with the card already loaded.
Uber One subscribers can earn up to $30 in Uber Cash on eligible Uber Eats grocery and retail purchases, with the offer running through August 31. For June, July, and August, Uber One members can earn $10 on one qualifying order each month when they pay with Apple Card in the Uber Eats app.
The eligible purchases cover groceries as well as health and beauty products, pet supplies, and other retail items available through Uber Eats. Once earned, the Uber Cash can be used on future Uber Eats orders.
For customers who already subscribe to Uber One and place grocery or retail orders through Uber Eats, the monthly Uber Cash bonus can be combined with Apple Card’s existing rewards. That matters because the promotion is separate from Apple Card’s standard rewards program.
Customers who use Apple Card with Apple Pay for Uber and Uber Eats purchases continue to receive 3% Daily Cash on eligible transactions. Uber and Uber Eats are among the temporary merchants that offer 3% Daily Cash on eligible Apple Pay purchases made with Apple Card. Participating, long-term partners include Nike, Ace Hardware, Hertz, Walgreens, and Exxon Mobil.
Uber One is the company’s subscription service, offering benefits such as discounts on eligible orders and reduced delivery fees. Apple Card customers are also eligible for a six-month Uber One trial when signing up with Apple Card and Apple Pay. After the trial period ends, the subscription automatically renews at Uber’s standard monthly rate unless canceled.
In other words: if you’re already paying with Apple Card on Uber Eats and you’re on (or willing to start) Uber One, the new promotion layers on extra Uber Cash through the end of August—without changing the 3% Daily Cash customers get on qualifying Apple Pay transactions.

So Apple’s bribing people with Uber Cash now? $30 doesn’t even cover the fees half the time.
I feel like this is basically just for people who already use Uber Eats like 24/7. But it says $10 a month… is that $10 total or $10 per item? I hate how these things are worded.
Wait so you can get Uber One for free with Apple Card?? Like it’s a six month trial and then you get the $30 cash… I’m confused if you have to pay the subscription after the trial or if it’s canceled automatically.
This is crazy because I thought Uber Cash is only for rides? But it’s groceries and pet stuff too?? Also if you pay with Apple Pay you still get 3% Daily Cash, so technically you’re getting double rewards or whatever… unless it’s only on certain days or something. I just don’t trust these promo terms.
