Andy Cohen and Boyfriend Kevin Sobieski Just Took a Big Step in Their Romance

Andy Cohen and his new boyfriend are officially making it public.

The “Watch What Happens Live” host and businessman Kevin Sobieski stepped out at a public event for the first time when they made an appearance at friend John Mayer’s live SiriusXM performance on Aug. 26 in the Hamptons in New York.

Their big night out came more than two months after Cohen first shared that he was dating someone new.

The longtime Bravo producer spoke in June on his SiriusXM podcast about how he has “met the person.” Cohen, 58, did not reveal Sobieski’s name at the time, but he gushed about his new relationship.

“This man is kind, and strong, and smart, and he is an adult,” Cohen said on his podcast. “And he loves my children, and they love him, and I love him.”

Pop culture expert Nessa Diab appeared on TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle on June 4 and shared some details of the new summer romance, including Sobieski’s name.

“We’re happy for him,” Jenna and Sheinelle replied.

Cohen said on his show that the two met at a July 4 party in 2025.

“We talked all night: I very methodically put my number in his phone,” Cohen said. “Apparently, I said to him twice that night, ‘I want to make sure this number is right … and then he said, ‘Wow, I knew you were serious when you were really, like, serious about this number.’”

Cohen also introduced Sobieski to his children, Benjamin Allen and Lucy Eve.

“We have been so slow and deliberate and methodical about getting to know each other, and introducing him to the kids, and just entering him into the equation of my family so slowly,” Cohen said. “It has been so easy. One year later, I still can’t believe I found him.”

One area where Cohen has had to educate Sobieski is the “Real Housewives” universe. Cohen said on TODAY on Aug. 5 that his boyfriend has never seen a single episode of Bravo’s hit reality franchise.

“His algorithm is feeding him ‘Housewives’-related things because our phones listen to everything we say. So he’s starting to, I think, get a sense of the universe. But he has no clue,” Cohen said.

Cohen is not bothered by it.

“No, not at all. I love it. He loves my kids and me, and that’s what’s important,” Cohen said. “But I’ll get him there.”
