Andrea Denver and Lexi Sundin revealed they’re expecting their first child—a baby girl—after trying to conceive last fall, with a shared joy that’s even bigger because two In the City costars are also pregnant.
The quiet moment became a life-changing one over Christmas. Lexi Sundin, 26, said she noticed her period was a few days late while spending time with family, and she had a feeling she might be pregnant.
In an interview with People on Tuesday, June 16, Sundin explained that she took a test. When the result came back positive, she told her husband, Andrea Denver, 35, the good news. She called it “one of those moments you wish you could bottle up forever. ” adding that they were “completely stunned in the best way and filled with gratitude.”.
Now, that gratitude has a baby attached to it: the couple is expecting their first child, and they’re preparing to meet a baby girl. Denver and Sundin shared that every week is making the pregnancy feel more real, and they’re “both counting down the days until we finally get to meet our little one.”
They also described how the news traveled within their closest circle before going public. The pair told their family and friends about the pregnancy first, then later officially announced it to the world. Alongside that personal milestone, there’s another layer of excitement tied directly to their work.
Denver and Sundin bonded with their In the City costars Yvonne Najor and Danielle Olivera too—because those castmates are also expecting. Najor is pregnant with her and husband Nick Barber’s first baby. while Olivera is expecting her first baby with boyfriend Eoin Heavey. Denver and Sundin said it’s “honestly crazy” that two of their closest friends and cast mates from In the City are also pregnant. with all three women due around the same time.
“There’s something really special about experiencing this season of life together,” Denver and Sundin reflected. “We get to share milestones, swap stories and navigate all the excitement of becoming parents side-by-side, which has made the journey even more meaningful.”
They’re still soaking in what’s ahead. from the everyday surprises to the bigger picture of family coming full circle. More than anything. the couple said they’re excited for “all the little moments that come with becoming parents and building our own family. ” and for the fact they’re about to make their parents grandparents. They added that they “feel incredibly grateful” and “can’t wait to meet our daughter and begin this next adventure together.”.
Sundin and Denver first met in 2021. Their story played out on Summer House, where Denver was in the cast from 2022 to 2024. The couple tied the knot in June 2024 in Denver’s hometown of Verona, Italy, and since then they’ve joined the Summer House spinoff, In the City.
