Amy Adams made a rare family red-carpet appearance on Tuesday, June 2, at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles—walking in support of her new Apple TV series Cape Fear with husband Darren Le Gallo and their 15-year-old daughter Aviana.
Amy Adams didn’t just show up for the premiere of her new Apple TV series Cape Fear—she brought her family with her, and for many fans, it felt like a small moment you can actually feel.
On Tuesday. June 2. at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles. the 51-year-old actress walked the red carpet alongside her husband. Darren Le Gallo. and their 15-year-old daughter. Aviana. It marked a rare public appearance as a family and the first time all three had stepped out together in two years.
For anyone who’s been wondering whether they’ll see more of Aviana in public, there was already one recent sign: earlier this year, Adams brought her daughter to the Lacoste fashion show in Paris.
On the same night, Adams wasn’t the only familiar face from Cape Fear making a splash. Her co-star Patrick Wilson was also at the premiere, joined by his son, Kal Wilson, and Emily Mills. Wilson has been going viral thanks to a workout video from the upcoming series.
The premiere also drew a wide lineup of cast members, including Javier Bardem, Lily Collias, Malia Pyles, Joe Anders, Anna Baryshnikov, Jamie Hector, Ron Perlman, Gem Marc Collins, Dot Cloud, Miles Mussenden, Patrick Fischler, and Gabrielle Byndloss.
Cape Fear is inspired by the 1991 remake directed by Martin Scorsese and produced by Steven Spielberg. The story follows happily married attorneys Anna (Adams) and Tom Bowden (Wilson). whose lives turn dangerous when Max Cady (Bardem)—the notorious killer they helped put behind bars—is released from prison and comes for vengeance.
Cape Fear is set to debut THIS Friday, June 5, on Apple TV, with the first two episodes landing at launch. New episodes will follow every Friday through July 31st.
