American woman weighs Miami trip for World Cup romance

An American woman plans to follow a member of the Tartan Army from Boston to Miami as he travels to support Scotland in their World Cup games. Over the last couple of weeks, social media have been filled with videos of the Scots partying in America as they get caught up in World Cup fever. Although, this isn’t the case for everyone, as one American woman has taken to a local radio station to seek advice on whether she should follow a Scot she met

in Boston to Miami for the upcoming celebrations or stay behind. Many Americans were also seen to get involved in the celebrations, with many swapping tops, learning the chants, and helping Scots place cones on top of important statues across the city. However, now that the Tartan Army has moved on to Miami, many locals have confessed that they have been sad to see them go. Should she do it for the plot?” Speaking on the phone to the radio hosts, the girl confessed: “I’m going to Miami with a Scottish guy that I just met like five days ago and

I’m trying to figure out if I’m insane or being rational right now. I’m not really sure.” The woman explained that she met the Tartan Army member at a popular Boston pub called the Dubliner. After watching one of the matches together and meeting up a few times while in the city, the man asked her to join him in Miami for the next game against Brazil. While the hosts were pleased that she has a “Scottish fling” going on, she added that her friends

have advised against the trip. Many viewers of the clip were quick to send their encouragement. She explained: “My friend said it’s crazy. That it’s dangerous and that I’m going to end up on a Netflix documentary for being murdered, but I don’t know maybe it’s worth it.” While one host encouraged her to “do it for the plot”, the woman revealed that the man had offered to pay for everything, which received raved responses from presenters. With the flight taking off the next day

(June 23), the hosts urged her to “run and pack her bags” to catch the flight to Miami. The woman has since received a lot of support in the comments section of the video, with one person cheering: “Do it for Boston!!!!” Meanwhile, another person wrote: “There will be a LOT of love stories coming out of the Dubliner since the Scottish have been here. I’m here for it!!!!” Some users also shared their own success stories, as one commented: “I met a Scottish guy

in a bar 12 years ago and we just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary! Do it girl! (But share your location at all times).” While another encouraged: “Well I did this couple years ago and I’m married now, met him in Boston and he lives in a different state. Now I have a Scottish last name! I’m alive!” Many viewers are also calling for an update to see if the American woman has followed the Scot from Boston to Miami amid World Cup fever. One

person wrote: “We want part two!”

  1. I mean if it’s true love then send it? But also, people are wild traveling with strangers. I wouldn’t even swap a phone number that fast.

  2. Wait so the Tartan Army was putting cones on statues?? That’s kinda a red flag to me like, who’s letting them do that. If she goes to Miami she better not get mistaken for one of them or whatever.

  3. This is why I don’t trust social media videos. One minute they’re chanting and swapping tops, next minute someone’s flying across the country for a plot like it’s a movie. If she stayed in Boston at least she’d be safe with her friends… unless the radio hosts are the real romance lol.
