Springfield, NJ (August 5, 2026) – On Monday, August 3, an ambulance from America Emergency Squad was involved in a collision at the intersection of Monmouth Road and Route 206 while transporting a patient to a hospital in Springfield.

Two EMTs, an EMT student, the patient, and the driver of the other vehicle were all taken to a hospital after being hurt. Their injuries were described as non-critical.

The Chief of EMS, Tim Young, said the two EMTs and the EMT student have since been released from the hospital. The current status of the patient and the other driver has not been made public.

The cause of the crash remains under review as investigators continue examining what happened.
