Amanda Batula and West Wilson Clarify Their Timeline

Amanda Batula and West Wilson laid out key moments in their romance—addressing when things began, what they said after going public in March, and how their first kiss and first intimacy fit into the picture during the Summer House season 10 reunion.

Amanda Batula and West Wilson didn’t just confirm their romance—they also tried to map it for the audience that has been filling in the blanks.

During the May episode of the Summer House season 10 reunion, West was asked who made the first move. He explained that when he and Amanda were out, he looked at her and wondered if something was happening. “When we were out. I kinda looked at Amanda and I was like. ‘Am I f***ing crazy or is there a little something going on here?’” West said.

The couple confirmed their relationship in March. about two months after Amanda released a joint statement explaining she and Kyle Cooke had parted ways after four years of marriage. West also brought his own past into the timeline: he was previously in a relationship with costar and Amanda’s ex-BFF Ciara Miller.

In April, West insisted there was no overlap between relationships. “There was no overlap,” he said, adding that he and Amanda “realized things were maybe a little bit serious” in February.

He later repeated the same point during an episode of his and Sophie Cunningham’s “Show Me Something” podcast, pushing back on the chatter. “I know there’s a thousand different theories on the internet right now, but that is one thing that for sure did not happen,” West said. “Everyone was single.”

They also explained why they waited to speak publicly. In March. Amanda and West released an Instagram statement that began: “We’ve seen the growing online speculation. so while this is still very new. we wanted to provide some clarity.” The statement continued that it was “never our intention to purposely hide anything. ” but that the pair needed “a little space to process things privately before speaking on it” due to “complicated relationship dynamics” and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show.

They described their bond as something built over time. “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years. through all the highs and lows. and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. ” they wrote. “Our connection grew out of a genuine. longstanding friendship. which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”.

As their feelings evolved, they said, they wanted time to understand them. “We’ve also recognized that as our feelings evolved. we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. ” the statement read. They added that the situation “has had an impact beyond just us. ” and that they “never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.” “We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this. ” they concluded.

The reunion then tightened the chronology even more.

Amanda and West confirmed their first kiss happened at the “end of February after brunch.” Costar Jesse Solomon had previously said in April that West went to brunch with cast members in February and then left to spend time with Amanda, but didn’t tell them where he was going.

Later in the first part of the Summer House season 10 reunion, host Andy Cohen asked Amanda and West when they were first intimate. Amanda’s answer offered a clear link between the public statement and the private timeline: “After the statement. I mean, not that night.”

  1. Wait so the first kiss was during the reunion?? Or was it like… Summer House season 10 reunion like right before? I’m confused because they’re talking March, February, April all in one breath. Like who’s keeping track.

  2. I don’t buy it, sorry. If West “looked at her” and thought something was going on, then something was probably going on… even if they say there was no overlap. Internet rumors or not, these reality people always conveniently pick the cleanest story.

  3. The whole “everyone was single” thing is wild to me because people always say that after the fact. Also Kyle Cooke being mentioned makes it sound like Amanda’s statement in May or March was the start of all this? Then it’s like West and Ciara Miller and ex-BFF… I can’t even follow whose relationship belongs to what month. Just tell me when they started kissing and stop with the “theories” talk.
