Adam Driver’s latest sci-fi blast is already on borrowed time for U.S. viewers. The film is streaming on HBO Max, but it won’t be there much longer: 65 is scheduled to be removed from the platform on July 1.

The movie. released on March 10. 2023. runs 92 minutes and stars Driver as an astronaut who crash-lands on a prehistoric Earth populated by dinosaurs. Directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. and written by Beck and Woods. the thriller was produced by Sam Raimi. Deborah Liebling. Zainab Azizi. Bryan Woods. and Scott Beck.

Once it reached theaters, 65 didn’t catch fire with audiences the way its concept promised. It grossed $60 million worldwide against a reported budget of $45 million, then landed with mediocre reviews. On the Rotten Tomatoes aggregator website. it holds a 35% score. with the site’s consensus reading. “Sodden sci-fi that somehow finds a way to bungle Adam Driver fighting dinosaurs. 65 is closer to zero.”.

The streaming exit comes as Driver keeps moving forward. He’ll soon appear as part of the A-list ensemble of James Gray’s new movie, Paper Tiger, alongside Scarlett Johansson and Miles Teller.

  1. I saw this movie like once and I don’t even remember it being that bad? Rotten Tomatoes 35% sounds wild though. HBO Max loves dumping stuff right when you finally get around to it.

  2. Wait so it’s leaving because it made $60 million? Like that’s good money, why would they drop it then? Also I thought Adam Driver movies always stay forever on streaming lol.

  3. 65 leaving July 1 isn’t surprising, HBO Max has been doing that nonstop. I watched like 20 minutes and the dinosaurs looked kinda cheap? But people keep saying it’s “sodden” (??) and I’m just like… it’s literally a survival movie. Also $45 mil budget vs $60 mil gross, so technically they still lost right? Idk I just know I’m not paying extra for another platform to watch the same thing.
