3 Arrested After 17-Year-Old Found Dead in Indiana

3 arrested – Indiana State Police arrested three people after a southern Indiana crash left 17-year-old Hunter Blaine Rowley dead. Investigators said the incident involved an apparent shooting followed by a crash, and the suspects were taken into custody June 15 and 16 on
The night ended with a car on a rural road, and by the time deputies arrived, a 17-year-old was already dead inside.
Around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Washington County sheriff’s deputies were called to the 8000 block of South Big Springs Road, between Salem and Palmyra. Deputies found one person dead inside the car and requested help from Indiana State Police. Troopers later described what they were investigating as an apparent shooting followed by a subsequent crash.
Indiana State Police said their investigators are still working to determine what led to the apparent shooting and the crash. The victim was identified Monday as 17-year-old Hunter Blaine Rowley, of Pekin.
Three arrests followed over the weekend. Indiana State Police said Jessica Lambert, 35, of Pekin; Kendall Cline, 20, of Salem; and Ethan D. Edison, 22, of Salem, were taken into custody on June 15 and June 16. All three were charged with felony intimidation.
The charges also split in key ways. Cline and Edison are each charged with dealing in a controlled substance. Edison is additionally charged with pointing a firearm.
All three individuals were being held in the Washington County Jail. Police said they are being held without bail.
So far, investigators have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding Rowley’s death, including what happened before the crash, or how the suspects and the victim were connected. The investigation remains ongoing.

17 and dead?? That’s just sad.
So they say it was a shooting then a crash… but nobody saying who shot him? Sounds like they’re just guessing. Also felony intimidation is such a weird charge for all that.
Felony intimidation plus “dealing in a controlled substance” like… that’s basically the Indiana version of every case now. I bet the kid was involved in drugs and somebody got scared and then it turned into a whole thing. Kinda wild they’re “without bail” though, makes me think they already have a video or something.
Wait, were the arrested people in the same car or different cars? “Car on a rural road” makes me think maybe it was like road rage or something, but then it says apparent shooting. And “pointing a firearm” doesn’t even mean he fired, right? I just hate when they call it all “apparent” and then move on.
