Zoey Deutch Pops in Minion Yellow at Premiere

Zoey Deutch stepped out in a Minion-yellow dress as Jeff Bridges, Allison Janney, Bobby Moynihan, and other co-stars hit the Dolby Theatre for the Sunday, June 28 premiere of “Minions & Monsters.” The third Minions film arrives in theaters Wednesday, July 1.
The Dolby Theatre was humming Sunday evening as Zoey Deutch made her entrance in a Minion yellow dress—an outfit that felt less like a choice and more like an instant signal for what was coming next.
Held on June 28 in Hollywood. the “Minions & Monsters” premiere brought together the film’s major stars. including Zoey Deutch. Jeff Bridges. Allison Janney. and Bobby Moynihan. The group lined up for a group photo as they stepped in for the event. with Deutch front and center in her bright. cartoon-adjacent look.
Jesse Eisenberg, Phil LaMarr, and Trey Parker were also in attendance, joining the rest of the cast at the premiere. Director. co-writer. and co-star Pierre Coffin was seen stepping out as well. and his presence carried extra weight for longtime fans—Coffin has directed all three “Despicable Me” movies and the first “Minions” movie. He also provides the voice for the Minions, a role that dates back to their debut in 2010. Jimmy Tatro, Zoey Deutch’s fiancé, was also there.
The movie’s story is described as “the rambunctious, ridiculous and totally true story of how the Minions conquered Hollywood, became movie stars, lost everything, unleashed monsters onto the world and then banded together to try and save the planet from the mayhem they had just created.”
With this marking the third “Minions” movie and the seventh overall in the “Despicable Me” franchise. it’s landing at a point where the franchise’s track record is already huge. From the six previously released movies. the franchise has earned over $5 billion at the box office. and one of the entries is among the Top 10 highest earning animated movies of all time.
“Minions & Monsters” is set to hit theaters this Wednesday, July 1. The trailer is available above, offering another look at what the premiere crowd has been preparing for ever since the yellow-dressed arrival at Dolby Theatre.

Minion yellow is literally the only outfit that matters apparently.
Wait it says “totally true story”?? Like of what, minions saving the planet? I’m confused lol. Also Zoey looked great but why does every premiere require matching the characters now?
Jeff Bridges being there feels random like he’s just collecting big-name cast photos. Pierre Coffin directed all the Despicable Me stuff right, so isn’t this basically just another one of those? Either way I don’t think yellow dress = signal for monsters… but I guess marketing works.
I saw the title and thought it was about actual Minions (like the band) and Zoey Deutch is in the “Yellow” era 😂. But nah it’s a movie premiere. $5 billion box office?? That number sounds fake like they add up all the minions toys or something. Either way I’m going to see it just to see if it’s “totally true” or whatever they’re calling it.
