YouTubers facing – Two Argentinian YouTubers were arrested at Miami Stadium during the Colombia vs Portugal World Cup match after allegedly bypassing three layers of security using expired credentials. A Miami-Dade judge ordered both to be held on $2,500 bond each.

Saturday night at Miami Stadium was meant to be routine for a World Cup crowd—until two creators tried to slip past security.

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested 20-year-old Lautaro B. Marmol and 26-year-old Patricio Rafael Perrotta in South Florida after the two allegedly sneaked past multiple layers of stadium security during the Colombia vs Portugal game on Saturday night. By the time they were confronted by stadium authorities. the breach had already cut through. with arrest reports saying they managed to “bypass three layers of security” to reach the main stadium grounds.

The allegation turns on paperwork. Reports state the pair used expired credentials from a previous tournament game to gain access.

When they were confronted. Marmol told deputies he was an influencer trying to get inside so he could stream the match to his followers. Perrotta gave law enforcement a different explanation. saying he had been officially “hired by a media company to review the event. ” and that he believed the credentials were still valid even though they were from a past date.

A Miami-Dade judge quickly found probable cause for both internet personalities and ordered they be held on a $2,500 bond each.

The incident was part of a broader security push at the stadium: the internet stars were two of 16 total individuals arrested by law enforcement during a heavily policed night at Miami Stadium, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

  1. Wait so they used expired credentials from another game and got charged? I mean… if it scanned, what else were they supposed to do. Security at these stadiums is always a mess anyway.

  2. Two layers of security cut through already?? That wording makes it sound like the stadium let them in on purpose. Also “influencer trying to stream” like that’s a crime… but then the media company angle too? I’m confused. $2,500 bond doesn’t seem like much for felony stuff.

  3. So they bypassed three layers and somehow it’s only $2,500 bond each, kinda feels light. Bet they were wearing the right lanyards or something. Expired creds from a past tournament is still basically the same tournament right? Like Portugal vs Colombia vibes… come on. Stadium security needs better tech, not this paperwork drama.
