“President Curtis,” the first official spinoff of “Rick and Morty,” is airing its 4th new episode on Sunday, Aug. 16 at 11:30 p.m. ET.
It will be preceded by a rerun of “Rick Fu,” an episode from season 9 of “Rick and Morty,” at 11 p.m.

The series stars Keith David as the titular President Curtis, with Stephanie Beatriz as Roe Banks, Curtis’s cyborg chief of staff, and Jim Rash as Special Agent O’Doyle, who is secretly a leprechaun.

The series will follow Andre Curtis, the sitting President of the United States and frequent guest character in “Rick and Morty.” He and his staff struggle through both the backbiting nature of politics and various supernatural entities normally beneath the notice of Rick Sanchez.
According to the official description of the episode, which is called “Purchase,” Curtis and his team will find themselves frantically responding to a disaster which arises from a hidden clause in the original document sealing the Louisiana Purchase.
Again, the episodes of this series continue to follow a more formulaic, one-word approach than its pun-driven predecessor.
