Two of England’s most historic soccer clubs are set to christen Sports Illustrated Stadium’s pitch with an atmosphere Harrison doesn’t usually get outside of Red Bulls and Gotham FC nights.
Sunderland AFC and Leeds United FC meet at Sports Illustrated Stadium (formerly Red Bull Arena) on Thursday, July 30, with kickoff at 7:30 p.m., as both Premier League clubs wrap up their preseason U.S. tour.
It’s the first time either club has played at the New Jersey venue, and it’s shaping up to be one of the best post-World Cup soccer games for fans across the Northeast.
