YETI’s 20-can Rambler beverage tub is finally back in stock — I’m perfect for parties

After selling out instantly, YETI has quietly restocked the Rambler Beverage Tub, and this is one party essential you don’t want to miss out on again.
The update:
When YETI launched the Rambler Beverage Tub back in May, I knew instantly it was going to be a hit. With its multi-purpose design, I wasn’t surprised that the $300 tub sold out in a flash and wasn’t restocked for months.

You can grab the Rambler Beverage Tub in navy or cape taupe — but I recommend not waiting on this one because it’s guaranteed to sell out again.
What make the YETI Rambler beverage tub special?
It’s pretty easy to see why the Rambler Beverage Tub was a quick sell out, especially for those summer cookouts. It is the ideal way to keep drinks cold during a party, allowing guests to grab a refill without you having to serve them.
Made ultra-durable like all YETI gear, the Rambler Beverage Tub has a stainless-steel design with double-wall vacuum insulation to keep drinks cold for hours.
It features a 4-gallon capacity, which is larger than its fan-favorite Rambler Beverage Bucket, which has a 2-gallon size and retails for $150.
As part of YETI’s Barware Collection, the Rambler Beverage Tub was also engineered to eliminate that annoying sweating problem, you often see with other beverage containers. It will also stay put on its rubber feet and don’t worry: you can take it on the go with its easy-to-carry rubber side handles.
It’s also stackable, so you can save on storage space with multiple tubs.
How much can the YETI Rambler beverage tub hold?
I think this is the best part of YETI’s Rambler Beverage Tub. It can hold 20 12-oz cans. Just fill it up with frosty beers, sodas or your favorite seltzer and you can enjoy cold drinks for hours.
It can hold 12 wine bottles upright without the lid, which I find impressive. You can also add long-neck bottles, mixer bottles and more. It can hold 20 pounds of ice, which you can liberally add to drinks to keep them cold.
The tub measures 15.4 inches wide by 10.6 inches high and has a dry weight of 12.5 pounds, which is relatively light for its size.
What can the Yeti Rambler beverage tub be used for?
The uses of the YETI Rambler Beverage Tub are almost unlimited. While intended to hold cold beverages and ice, the tub can be used for many other purposes.
Here are some ideas:
- Cold drinks for a cookout
- Ice for mixed drinks
- Campagne at a reception
- Wine for a backyard tasting
- Plate & utensil storage for a buffet
- Party favors for a birthday party
Is the Rambler beverage tub worth it?
Yes! I think the Rambler Beverage Tub is worth the $300 price tag. While you could easily use a YETI Cooler to keep beverages cold during a cookout, in this configuration, the tub invites guests to grab a drink to stay refreshed.
It’s a more appealing way to host a party, and because it is so handy, you’ll use it for all your get-togethers indoors or outdoors.
Plus, the no-sweat design of the Rambler Beverage Tub makes for quick and easy cleanup. There will be no watery mess to contend with during your summer cookouts, and refilling it with drinks couldn’t be simpler.
What’s included with the YETI Rambler beverage tub?
The YETI Rambler Beverage Tub comes with a raised lid that can be removed to accommodate taller items. When in place, the lid keeps beverages and ice colder for longer.
Although replacement lids are not currently available, YETI said it will offer them for purchase at some point. I’ll keep an eye out for this and keep you updated.
Does YETI offer a warranty on the Rambler beverage tub?
YETI offers a five-year warranty on the Rambler Beverage Tub, so you don’t have to worry about it not standing up to the demands of everyday use. You can also rest assured that this tub is made to the same YETI standards as its Rambler water bottles, Tundra coolers and other gear.
