WWE star Ludwig Kaiser. whose real name is Marcel Barthel. was arrested Wednesday for battery after police say he and the woman he was with couldn’t keep things “in check” during the ride. The allegations trace back to an incident inside an elevator at the building where Kaiser and the neighbor both live.
Police say the neighbor stepped into the elevator on April 23 along with Kaiser and the woman. As the elevator ascended, Kaiser and the woman allegedly began making out in front of the neighbor. The police report describes their behavior as reaching an “uncontrollably intimate” level with aggressive kissing.
When the group reached the 12th floor, both parties allegedly got off the elevator. The report says the neighbor then told the couple to “please have some manners.”
That comment, police allege, set off an angry response from Kaiser. The report says Kaiser pummeled the neighbor and shoved him to the floor.
Law enforcement also says Kaiser threatened the neighbor, and that the neighbor later reported the alleged assault to police. Kaiser was identified from security footage, and he was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for misdemeanor battery.
After the arrest, Kaiser was booked into the Orange County Jail. He was released after posting $1,000 bail.
