WWE’s Cody Rhodes Pays A Surprise Visit To Marvel Studios — Is A Big Crossover Coming?
WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes was recently at Marvel Studios’ office, does this mean the ‘American Nightmare’ is heading to the MCU?
Over the last year, WWE’s Cody Rhodes has been landing acting gigs, as he will appear in the Street Fighter movie in the fall, and he recently paid a visit to Marvel Studios — could he be MCU-bound?

He would not be the first WWE Superstar to act in the MCU. Dave Bautista famously played Drax the Destroyer in the Guardians of the Galaxy series for years. He also appeared in Avengers movies (Infinity War and Endgame) during his run.
The MCU is heading towards a reset after Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027. Maybe Rhodes will land a role in the new version of the MCU.

In 2025, Rhodes appeared in his first non-WWE-produced movie, The Naked Gun. He shared the screen with Liam Neeson as a bartender.
Besides his role in Arrow in the mid-2010s, he had not had a lot of experience acting. Coming up, he will play Guile in the Street Fighter movie. Another WWE Superstar and his former rival, Roman Reigns, will also star in the adaptation.
Rhodes is one of WWE’s top stars. He returned to the company in 2022 after he left in 2016. After years on the indies and helping form AEW, he returned to WWE, the company his father, Dusty Rhodes, was an icon in.
Since his return, he has become a main event player. Rhodes won the Undisputed WWE Championship from Reigns, ending his 1,316-day reign, at WrestleMania 40. He has since held the title two other times.
His other accolades include winning back-to-back Royal Rumbles in 2023 and 2024, King of the Ring in 2025, and the Crown Jewel Championship in 2024. Over the last few years alone, he has had himself a Hall of Fame career.
