WWE Superstar Danhausen has revealed his TV dream come true moment and it is not something you’d expect.
For several years now, WWE has increased its use of celebrities into their programming. On top of celebrity additions, WWE has also heavily used other sponsorship and promotional materials on its show.
While not officially a partnership of any kind, WWE’s Danhausen recently shared that appearing on the legendary Simpsons TV show would be a dream come true moment for him. Both Danhausen and The Simpsons are known for their comic timing, and such a pair could be truly undeniable.
“Oh, yes, that’s a dream come true. So we’ve got to make that dream come true, Danhausen. Even if you want to put Danhausen in a Treehouse of Horror as a guest star, that would be great. Let’s get it in there. Let’s put it out in the universe,” Danhausen said while speaking to BANG Showbiz in a new interview.
The Simpsons hold a Guinness World Record for featuring the most guest stars in an animated television series, with well over 700 celebrity appearances. And having Danhausen appear on the show will not be an unlikely moment, taking into consideration WWE’s recent tie-ups with other celebrities and entertainment media.
Conan O’Brien is proud of Danhausen’s WWE success
Earlier this year, ahead of WWE WrestleMania 42, TV star Conan O’Brien expressed his pride in watching Danhausen succeed in WWE. “Five years ago this month, we did our very first fan episode. I really love these segments, and the very first one featured a fan of mine named Danhausen. Now, Danhausen is a wrestler, and he explained to me when we did this very first fan episode that he had loosely based his character, his wrestling character, on me if I was an interdimensional demon, which seems redundant to me,” O’Brien said.
“And this is a guy who just applied an incredible work ethic to his passion, and I was so impressed with this fellow. Now it’s five years later, and I am thrilled to report that Danhausen has recently made his WWE debut to rave reviews.
“And this is proof again that if you can marry hard work to your passion, you can go places. So on behalf of myself and all of us here at Team Coco, massive congratulations and mad respect to Danhausen. And I’m so proud of you. Happy for you,” O’Brien finished.
