By late afternoon Sunday, Dallas fans will have one clear question: can the Wings keep pace with the Minnesota Lynx when the game tips at 2 p.m. ET at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.
Minnesota enters the matchup with the league’s best record at 14-4, even as its top player, Napheesa Collier, has not played a single game yet. Dallas is 11-7.
The game is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, 2026. It will air on CBS. For viewers who want to stream, it’s available through DIRECTV (free trial), fuboTV (free trial), and Paramount+.
Minnesota vs. Dallas isn’t just a matchup on paper. The Wings are coming off a night that showed how quickly momentum can flip in the WNBA. On Thursday night, A’ja Wilson scored 32 points and the Las Vegas Aces led nearly throughout to beat Dallas 99-84 and avoid being swept.
Chelsea Gray finished with 12 points and nine assists. She also became the fourth player in WNBA history with at least 4,500 points and 2,000 assists, reaching 2,003 career assists. Jackie Young added 20 points for the Aces, including a four-point play in the third quarter, and Cheyenne Parker-Tyus totaled 13 points.
For the Wings, Paige Bueckers scored 25 points and Jessica Sheppard had 22 points and 14 rebounds.
Dallas had been looking for its first sweep of the Aces since 2018, after winning the first two games in that series, both at Dallas. The Wings’ most recent win over Las Vegas before Thursday was a 96-66 rout on June 15.
The Aces set the tone early. They opened with a 10-point run to take a 15-4 lead and led 28-17 after the first quarter. Parker-Tyus later told NBA TV after the first quarter, “We came in with the focus to kick their butts.”
Las Vegas made 53.3% of its shots and pushed its advantage as high as 17 points. Dallas kept working its way back and got within 53-49 early in the third quarter. but the Wings didn’t get any closer after that. They were 2 of 21 from the 3-point arc. Dallas also struggled to create second-chance opportunities, with the Aces winning the rebounding battle 35-24.
Even with that loss absorbed, the broader rhythm of the season has been shifting toward the Aces. Las Vegas has won nine of its past 11 games, but they were coming off an 87-76 loss to New York on Tuesday night.
The immediate next steps are straightforward: the Wings host Minnesota on Sunday. The Aces travel to Chicago on Sunday.

2 p.m. already? I missed the last one lol
Minnesota 14-4 and Collier hasn’t played?? That sounds like some weird record glitch to me. Dallas 11-7 too, so is this gonna be a blowout or what. Also CBS better not black out the game again.
Wait so Paige Bueckers is on Dallas now? I swear I saw her in a highlight doing something totally different last season. If the Wings only shot 2 of 21 from 3 then yeah, they were cooked. But Collier not playing yet and still best record makes me think the league is kinda off balance.
A’ja Wilson 32, 99-84, and somehow Dallas is still gonna “keep pace” with the Lynx? I don’t buy it. Like they couldn’t even get close after the 53-49 third quarter thing, and they were trash from 3, so Minnesota should run away with it. Also all those streaming options… free trials for like 3 different services is a lot, I’m just gonna watch on CBS and hope it works.
