Alisha M. Miller, 35, of Wilmington and formerly of Wrentham, died unexpectedly on June 12, 2026, at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, along with her unborn son. Her family invites the community to visiting hours June 19 and a Funeral Mass June 20
On June 12, 2026, Alisha M. Miller—35, of Wilmington and formerly of Wrentham—died unexpectedly at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, along with her unborn son, Spencer Paul Miller.
Born August 10, 1990, in Newton, Massachusetts, Alisha was the cherished daughter of Michael A. and Patricia L. “Tricia” (Scott) Halpin. She was raised and educated in Wrentham and graduated from Norfolk County Agricultural High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Salem State University as a member of the Class of 2013. She later received her master’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University in 2022.
Those who knew her also remembered a life shaped by momentum—academic drive. a career built on service. and a warmth that seemed to arrive before she did. Alisha worked for years in the hospitality industry. holding several positions before accepting the role of Associate Director of Sales at The Liberty Hotel in Boston. Her ability to connect with people. along with her professionalism and extensive industry knowledge. earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues. clients. and friends.
From early on, her family described her as joyful and steady with a kind of energy that lifted rooms. Alisha’s summers with loved ones at Conway Lake in Conway. New Hampshire. became part of the memories she carried with her and shared. She formed lasting friendships—from childhood and high school to college and through her professional life—grounded in a positivity. warmth. and an infectious smile.
On October 15, 2022, Alisha married her sweetheart, Robert A. Miller, Jr. Together they built their life in Wilmington, a community she quickly embraced and where she formed many treasured friendships. She also embraced motherhood, lovingly serving as a mother to Mason Miller, a role she cherished with all her heart. Alisha, Robert, and Mason shared a family life filled with laughter, joy, and unforgettable memories.
Alisha will be remembered for her extraordinary kindness, compassion, and generosity. She genuinely cared about others and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Known as the life of the party, she loved making people smile and laugh. “Beautiful both inside and out. ” her family wrote. “Alisha was truly one in a million—a woman with a huge heart whose love and light will continue to live on in the lives she touched.”.
She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Miller, Jr., and devoted mom to Mason Miller and Spencer Miller, all of Wilmington. She was the cherished daughter of Michael A. and Patricia L. “Tricia” (Scott) Halpin of Wrentham; treasured sister of Michael Halpin and his partner. Marissa Aries. of Wrentham. and Kelsey Frias and her husband. Nolin. of Norton. She was the special “Auntie” of Gavin Frias and Harvey Frias, who was also her beloved godson.
Alisha was the dear daughter-in-law of Robert Miller, Sr. and Linda Pingiaro, and the late Patricia Miller, and sister-in-law of the late Nicole Miller. She is also survived by a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who held a special place in her heart.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visiting hours on Friday, June 19, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Avenue (Route 62), Wilmington. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 20, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Church, 126 Middlesex Avenue (Route 62), Wilmington, followed by interment at Wildwood Cemetery in Wilmington. (The family asks that guests go directly to the church on Saturday.).
