Wiener Heckled at San Francisco Pride by Gaza Rage

California State Sen. Scott Wiener was heckled and physically confronted by several people during San Francisco’s trans Pride march, as attendees accused him of supporting genocide in Gaza and of being hostile to the community he helped legislate for.
California State Sen. Scott Wiener’s walk through San Francisco’s Pride atmosphere turned into a confrontation on Friday—one captured on video as angry marchers berated him over his position on Gaza.
The incident unfolded at Dolores Park, where Wiener appeared at the trans Pride march. In footage posted to X by Dimitry Yakoushkin, Wiener is seen moving away as several people close in and repeatedly shout at him while one heckler pounds him.
Yakoushkin’s clip shows the verbal assault landing on the same theme: Wiener’s “policy on the genocide in Gaza.” One heckler shouted, “We f*cking hate you!” as another yelled, “I think your policy on the genocide is terrible!” and added, “I think you do not belong here!”
As Wiener kept walking away. the video shows two other people getting in his face. including a man who flipped the middle finger at Wiener and shouted at him. Yakoushkin continued yelling as well: “You’ve been terrible on Gaza!. You do not belong here anymore Scott and it breaks my f*cking heart!” He also said. “It breaks my heart that someone who wrote good legislation for queers is so f*cking terrible on Gaza!”.
The heckling did not stop once Wiener left the immediate center of the crowd. The footage shows more people rushing toward him as he walked away. with one young guy wearing a mask and a keffiyeh yelling at Wiener. A woman in giant red boots is also visible filming the scene. Other voices in the background called Wiener a “piece of sh*t” and a lowlife Zionist.
One heckler delivered a sharper accusation about belonging, yelling, “You stopped being queer the moment you started supporting Israel!”
The outburst was striking to some because. earlier this year. Wiener had posted a video ripping Israel for committing a “genocide” in Gaza. Yet the trans march atmosphere suggested that his words—or at least what some attendees believed those words implied—were not enough to win him acceptance at the event.
Yakoushkin posted additional commentary alongside the video, writing that “for the first time we kicked his ass out,” calling Wiener “a genocidal-supporting center right shill,” and including a “Trigger warning: broken man walking away defeated.” He added: “Vote Connie!”
Wiener is currently running to replace Rep. Nancy Pelosi in the House of Representatives.
By the time the video began spreading online, the clip had already drawn intense attention—more than 3 million views in less than a day, according to the post that circulated it.
