Whitney and Conner Confirm Mormon Wives Season 5 Return

Whitney and – Whitney Leavitt and Conner Leavitt say production for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 5 will resume after a March pause, with Whitney calling it her last season and Conner saying Hulu has cut it down to five episodes.

Whitney Leavitt and Conner Leavitt didn’t wait long to update fans—especially after the fifth season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives went quiet.

Production on season 5 was paused back in March amid allegations of a domestic incident involving Taylor Frankie Paul and ex Dakota Mortensen. In April, the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office ultimately declined to press charges against Taylor, 32. After the news broke that the charges were dropped, production was set to resume.

Whitney, 33, addressed what that means for the season on Thursday, June 25, during Trisha Paytas’ “Just Trish” podcast. “It’s not completely wrapped up. We just need to finish out the season, which will finish soon, and then that’ll be my last one,” she shared.

Conner, 32, offered a sharper warning about how shortened the season will be. He claimed that Hulu has “cut the season short … five episodes only.” Conner added that the production plan is now focused on getting everyone back for interviews and “wrap[ping] up a couple of things. ” describing the end result as an “abbreviated season” tied to what already happened publicly.

There’s also the personal layer. Whitney confirmed in May that she would be leaving the show. and she’s still in the thick of what comes next. In her “Just Trish” comments, she said she feels good about where things stand with her fellow MomTok influencers. “I feel the support. I feel like this is literally the first time ever I’m, like, good with everyone. It’s a breath of fresh air. No drama,” she said.
