Creators Josh Pate, Jonas Pate and Shannon Burke have previously explained that they originally imagined the Pogues’ story as a five-season adventure, and they’ve known what the show’s final scene will be for some time.
So, while we’re absolutely not ready to say goodbye to the Pogues, at least we’re heading towards an ending the creators have been planning for years.
