West Wilson Confirms Three-Hour Talk With Kyle Cooke

West Wilson says he and Summer House co-star Kyle Cooke sat down for a three-hour conversation last week to address the Amanda Batula scandal, calling it far calmer than their Season 10 reunion start.
West Wilson didn’t sugarcoat the mess around Summer House. On his latest “Show Me Something” podcast episode, the reality star looked back at a private, three-hour conversation he had with Kyle Cooke after Cooke’s relationship with Amanda Batula—Amanda’s estranged wife—became public.
Wilson. 31. confirmed the sit-down during the Monday. May 25 episode of the “Show Me Something” podcast. which he cohosts with WNBA player Sophie Cunningham. The conversation. he said. happened last week. following Kyle’s earlier hint that he would meet with West one-on-one for the first time since news broke about his relationship with Amanda in March.
“I’m not going to say [we’re] good. Nothing’s, like, perfect right now, but we talked for like three hours on Wednesday,” West shared. He also said he wasn’t sure whether what they filmed would end up on Summer House or another project tied to the cast.
He explained that he offered Kyle a chance to keep things off camera. “I offered. I was like. ‘Dude. I’m not trying to get to a better place with you for this f***ing show. I do care about you as a friend. and this doesn’t need to be filmed.’ Kyle was like. ‘This all happened. Our lives have been on camera. Might as well just film it,’” West continued.
The contrast, according to West, was immediate: the discussion was calmer than the way things kicked off at the Summer House season 10 reunion. That reunion—filmed in April—begins airing Tuesday, May 26, on Bravo.
“I’m glad we did [it] because it was obviously awkward and weird to start. but I think we made a lot of progress. It was not a gunfight. It was very calm and peaceful and trying to hear each other and get to a better place,” West said. He added that he appreciated the way Kyle handled him—“hearing me out. ” being “nice. ” and ending on a note West believes will help him more than the reunion itself.
“When the reunion ends, odds are not great for me, so that opportunity, I really appreciate him for,” he said.
Sophie Cunningham, 29, asked West whether Kyle seemed to be in a “good spot” after a difficult start to 2026. West pointed to the emotional gravity of the situation, saying it would be strange to claim things were fine while also acknowledging he feels he played a role in putting Kyle there.
“It would be weird if I said ‘yeah.’ He’s in a situation now that’s f***ing so bizarre and I’m half the reason he’s in it. ” West responded. “But I do think there’s greener grass for him moving forward. Unfortunately, right now, it’s just a weird spot. … He’s been so great. It’s just a s***** situation.”.
West also said he’s hoping the reunion—however intense it may be—creates a clearer path forward with the rest of the cast. He described the reunion as “not. like. gentle by any means. ” but said he thinks it can give everyone a chance to “get it out of their system” so things can become more “cordial” afterward.

Three hours? Sounds like therapy not a podcast lol.
So Kyle was dating Amanda while her wife was estranged?? I’m confused because I thought they were already done. Also why are they acting like filming is the real problem?
I don’t get how this is some “calmer” thing. If it’s Amanda’s estranged wife then that sounds like… not calm. Like the whole situation is messy, just admit it. And “off camera” like that ever happens on Bravo, come on.
Kyle said he would meet one-on-one but it’s still probably for the show right? West offered to keep it off camera but then “might as well film it”?? That’s literally how these people make money. Not saying it’s fake but I feel like they’re just trying to control the storyline before reunion airs.
