Two men were ejected from their courtside seats during the Indiana Fever’s game against the Las Vegas Aces after making remarks to players that went ‘too far’.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, the fans were seen being escorted out by security during the showdown at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Thursday night.
The incident occurred in the third quarter of the game, after Aces guard Jackie Young inbounded the ball and then swiftly pointed towards the fans and spoke to an official.
Moments later, security approached the two men who were seated courtside and directed them away from the game and down the tunnel.
Young later spoke about the matter after the game but refused to get into specifics about what the two fans had said in the moments leading up to their ejection.
The Aces star told reporters: ‘He was just chirping all game. I let him have it, and then he just made one that was a little bit too far.

‘They [security] did the right thing Obviously, we don’t want to see fans get kicked out, but at the end of the day, we’re human too. So let’s just show up to games, have fun and not take it too far.’
When pressed on what exactly was said, she replied: ‘I think we’ll just keep it in here’.
Later on, the Fever released a statement which said: ‘Following a report of a comment directed toward a player, arena security spoke with the fan involved and witnesses.
‘Security determined there was no violation of the Fan Code of Conduct. The fan was not removed from the arena, but elected to leave. We consider the matter closed.’
In the game itself, the Las Vegas Aces sealed a dramatic 86-84 win over Indiana Fever, after Chelsea Gray hit a buzzer beater three-pointer to seal the victory.
WNBA fans rushed onto social media to blame Fever star Caitlin Clark for the defeat after her turnover led to Gray’s game-winning shot just moments later.
Clark was unable to get past reigning WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson, who swatted the ball away and left the Fever star on the floor as the Aces hit a fast break.
The ball eventually found Gray on the outside, who made no mistake hitting her shot.
