Jonathon Brooks finally got to score the first touchdown of his career in the Panthers’ preseason game against the Jaguars on Friday.
Jonathon Brooks has been obstacles throughout the start of his NFL career. He made a big step in the right direction after scoring a touchdown in the Carolina Panthers’ preseason clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Friday night.
Brooks hasn’t played since his rookie campaign in 2024, only taking part in three games that year. ACL injuries have prevented him from getting time on the field, sidelining him for all of the 2025 season.
Carolina has remained patient in his rehab, hoping for Brooks to be productive in the running back room. Having recovered from the latest injury, the young rusher finally got the opportunity to score for the Panthers.
The highlight took place midway through the first quarter. Carolina was one yard away from the end zone as Brooks got the ball with a handoff, getting to score the first touchdown of his career.
