Watch Draymond Green get scared s**tless by fan spooking him with giant goose in China

As is customary in the offseason, NBA players usually partake in foreign tours across the globe as part of their marketing and branding sponsorships. Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is currently on one such trip, in China, where he recently came face to face with a lion-head goose prompting a hilarious reaction.

The Draymond Green was seated at an outdoor table in China amongst adoring fans where he was ready to try some of the local cuisine, when a fan snuck up behind the Warriors vet carrying the live goose. Green immediately jumped up from the table and ran behind the crowd that had gathered. Green had a good chuckle about the incident and so did the assembled group and it was all in good fun.

But with training camps set to open in a little over one month, Green will be getting back to his role on the Warriors. The 14-year veteran signed a one-year contract this offseason to return to the only franchise he’s ever known.

This past season, Green’s name came up in trade rumors amid the Warriors’ rumored pursuit of Giannis Antetokounmpo. The former Michigan State star is one of only two players, the other being Stephen Curry, who remain that were present for all four Warriors’ championship runs since 2015.

In 2025-26, Green appeared in 68 games at a little over 27 minutes per game. He averaged 8.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists with splits of 41.8 percent shooting from the field, 32.6 percent shooting from the 3-point line and 70.2 percent shooting from the free-throw line.
