The Vikings are turning the page on the front office before their first season under General Manager Nolan Teasley, and Minnesota’s latest personnel moves make it clear the team is building for a new football rhythm.
On Tuesday, the club formally announced the previously reported hirings of co-assistant General Managers Andrew Healy and Trent Kirchner. Minnesota also added Tyler Hamblin as director of football strategy, Ryan Pace as football advisor, and Azzaam Kapadia as assistant director of pro scouting.
More changes followed through promotions inside the organization. Dabness Atkins was promoted to scouting assistant. Chris French to director of football quantitative methods. Claire Morrison to football quantitative methods analyst. Jack Murphy to college area scout. and Brian Schnorr to college scout/BLESTO.
Teasley addressed the shakeup in a team statement. saying he was “excited about the staff we’ve assembled” and “confident in the talented. hardworking group we have throughout our entire football operation.” He added that the additions “further strengthen an already outstanding staff” and bring “valuable experience and perspective” to the organization. Teasley said the Vikings are “committed to building a championship-caliber team” and “creating an environment where everyone can do their best work in pursuit of that goal.”.
With training camp on the horizon, the timing is tight. The Vikings are scheduled to begin training camp next month, with rookies reporting on July 26 and veterans reporting on July 28. For a front office reshaping itself under Teasley. the next step is simple: getting the new-look structure fully plugged into the work that starts the moment players arrive.

Wait so Nolan Teasley is the GM now right? But they said “first season” so like… is he already making trades in July or is this just scouting shuffle? Kinda confusing.
I don’t get why they need like 10 promotions and titles before training camp. If they’re trying to build a championship team shouldn’t it be more like signing a QB instead of pro scouting or whatever. Also “BLESTO” sounds made up but maybe that’s a real thing? Idk.
