A moment of panic played out near TD Garden on Tuesday night, caught in video and shared by Sullivan’s Tap.
Patrons could be seen running for safety after hearing gunshots near the arena area at about 10:45 p.m., according to the Boston Police Department. The shots were fired around 10:45 p.m. near 100 Legends Way.
Police said the front door of Hotel Indigo at 280 Friend St. was shattered. Officers also reported that a vehicle parked in the area sustained ballistic damage. Sullivan’s Tap is located on Canal Street directly across from Friend Street, and police said there were no injuries.
Sullivan’s Tap posted to Instagram: “Everyone is safe at Sullys after shots were fired on friend st.”
Authorities recovered ballistic evidence from the scene, and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing, police said. No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is urged to contact District A-1 Detectives at 617-343-4248.
