Legendary USC football receiver Makai Lemon made his picks for the top four players in the program’s history.
Coach Lincoln Riley’s USC football team is 2-0 on the season after a 39-0 walloping of Fresno State on September 4 as they head toward September 12’s game against the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. Philadelphia Eagles and former USC wide receiver Makai Lemon attended the Fresno State game, where he constructed his ultimate USC wide receiver Mount Rushmore, showing his knowledge of the program.
Lemon was also asked to give his Mount Rushmore of Trojans wide receivers and picked four names that will be instantly familiar to diehard USC fans.
“I’mma go with Ja’Kobi Lane, non-biased, I’mma, Marqise Lee, Drake London…Amon-Ra (St. Brown),” Lemon concluded as he finished his list of four selections.

Each of Lemon’s choices had a similar trajectory with the Trojans and made it to the NFL, where they continued to showcase their talents.
Lane played three seasons at USC from 2023-2025 and finished with 1,363 yards and 18 touchdowns before declaring for the NFL Draft and getting taken by the Baltimore Ravens in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Lee played from 2011-2013 and racked up over 3,600 yards in his Trojans career, including a career-high 1,721 in 2012.
London played from 2019 to 2021, finished his USC career with 2,153 yards and 15 touchdowns, and is now with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons. St. Brown played from 2018-2020 at USC, finished with 2,270 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns, and is now with the NFL’s Detroit Lions.
Lemon, who hopes to follow in the footsteps of the aforementioned USC greats, overcame a hamstring injury to play during preseason for the Eagles and is working to overcome mistakes in hopes of becoming a dependable player on coach Nick Sirianni’s team this season.
There’s no doubt that Lemon knows his USC football history and the legacy of some of the program’s best players; now it’s time for him to take advantage of a golden opportunity with the Eagles and create his own NFL legacy.
