up to – Steeper discounts are pushing prices for multiple 14-inch MacBook Pro configurations with Apple’s M5 Pro and M5 Max chips to the lowest levels yet, with savings reaching $1,300 on select M5 Max models this weekend.

By the time shoppers start comparing 14-inch MacBook Pro configurations this weekend, one number is already pulling people in: up to $1,300 off.

The deals are aimed at a wide range of buyers. from those who just want an M5 Pro MacBook Pro at a lower entry price to shoppers hunting for heavily loaded M5 Max builds. The result. according to the offers being promoted right now. is that numerous M5 Pro and M5 Max 14-inch MacBook Pro configurations are landing at their lowest prices ever.

If you want the straightforward option, the standard M5 Pro 14-inch MacBook Pro is marked down to $1,999 at both Amazon and B&H. That’s a $200 discount.

There are also other M5 Pro configurations with smaller but still meaningful cuts. One listing pairs an M5 Pro with a 15C CPU. 16C GPU. 24GB of memory. and a 1TB standard display configuration at $1. 999. again showing as $200 off. Another model with an 18C CPU and 20C GPU. 24GB of memory. and a 2TB configuration with the standard display is priced at $2. 629. which is $170 off. For buyers who want more memory. an M5 Pro with an 18C CPU and 20C GPU. 64GB of memory. and a 1TB standard display configuration—plus the Silver option—is listed at $2. 799. reflecting $200 off.

But the biggest headline savings are tied to the M5 Max models. A loaded M5 Max config from Expercom—featuring an 18C CPU, 40C GPU, 48GB of memory, 8TB of storage, and a Nano-texture display in Silver—has a record-breaking $1,300 markdown. Its price is listed at $4,749, after the $1,300 discount.

Other M5 Max offers still carry strong reductions, just not as dramatic. An M5 Max model with an 18C CPU. 32C GPU. 36GB of memory. and 2TB with the standard display is priced at $3. 349. marked down by $250. A different M5 Max setup with an 18C CPU and 40C GPU. 64GB of memory. and 2TB with the Nano-texture display in Silver is listed at $4. 199. down by $250. Another M5 Max configuration with an 18C CPU and 40C GPU. 64GB of memory. and 8TB with the standard display is priced at $5. 799. which reflects $300 off.

For anyone trying to figure out which version matches what they actually need, the current sales push is organized around a simple decision: start with the M5 Pro or jump to M5 Max—then choose the CPU, GPU, memory, storage, and display type.

  1. So they’re saying $1,300 off the M5 Max… but only if you buy the whole fancy 8TB one? Seems like bait.

  2. I don’t get it. The headline says up to $1,300 off but the regular M5 Pro is only $200? Like why even click if they just want people to upgrade anyway.

  3. Apple always does this where it’s “lowest prices ever” but it’s still not cheap. Also I swear I saw a deal like this last month with different numbers? Maybe the GPU thing is what makes it cheaper or whatever. I just want a normal MacBook not the whole 64GB/8TB monster.
