Dashcam video shows fatal vehicle crash in SW Marion County
This dashcam video from a motorist, provided to the media by the FHP, shows the moment two vehicles crashed in southwest Marion County, killing a woman in the white SUV.

Which agency is investigating the crashes? Florida Highway Patrol.
What happened? In the first crash, troopers were called to State Road 25 at 7:02 a.m. Aug. 23 in reference to a single-vehicle crash. FHP said a 43-year-old Weirsdale man was driving an older model Chevrolet pickup truck southbound on SR 25 and failed to negotiate a curve.
The truck veered onto the east shoulder, where it struck a utility pole and a fence, then overturned. Ejected, the driver was pronounced deceased by county fire rescue officials.
At 7:39 p.m., troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash in Marion Oaks. Authorities said a Dodge Ram was speeding south on Marion Oaks Course, just south of Southwest 141st Lane, when it ran off the road and onto the west shoulder.
The Dodge hit a mailbox, then hit a large tree and burst into flames, FHP said.
The driver is unidentified, and FHP officials said they plan to use dental records as a means of making a positive identification.
