President Donald Trump has threatened another strike inside Iran.
During the Republican midterm convention in Dallas, Trump said the U.S. has detected new activity at Pickaxe Mountain, an Iranian nuclear site.

“We can read it from space. Can you believe this?” Trump said. “Thousands of miles away and we’re reading somebody’s, we know exactly what’s going on, but we notice there’s a little activity at Pickaxe.”
He then warned Iran “not to get cute,” saying the U.S. would have “no choice” but to “have to hit them very hard.”
Fighting spreads across the region
The warning comes as fighting spreads elsewhere in the region.
The Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen say Saudi Arabia launched more than 30 airstrikes across the country.
Saudi Arabia has not confirmed the Houthi claim.
Iran strikes damage U.S. assets
There are also new details about Iran’s retaliatory strikes on U.S. assets in Jordan.
Sources tell CBS News that about eight F-15s sustained light damage but were quickly returned to service.
One A-10 Thunderbolt, known as the Warthog, reportedly lost a wing.
Those strikes came after U.S. forces destroyed five Iranian oil tankers on Tuesday. Iran had previously claimed its attacks struck U.S. Navy destroyers, but U.S. Central Command denied that, saying, “No U.S. Navy warship has been struck; all IRGC attempted attacks failed.”
The president also floated renaming the Strait of Hormuz, the “Trump Strait.”
He again said oil prices will fall once the U.S. wins the war with Iran, a war he said is “taking place right now.”
