Trump Kicks Down Lake Ontario Sign and Does YMCA Dance in Wild AI Video Ratcheting Up Feud With Canada

President Donald Trump kept the shots at Canada coming on Saturday by posting an AI-generated video of himself kicking over a sign reading “Lake Ontario” and planting a Lake America sign in its place.
The AI Trump then celebrated the toppled sign by breaking into his signature “YMCA” dance along the tree-lined shore, while the Village People song started playing in the background; the tune replaced the cliched Disney-esque nature music playing before the president booted the sign.

The video added to the series of jabs Trump has thrown at Canada this week after a trade deal between the two nations collapsed. Trump responded to the trade war by declaring the Great Lake was no longer Lake Ontario, it was now Lake America – a move which riled up many liberals but was hailed as elite trolling by many MAGA fans.
Trump ramped up the feud on Thursday by signing an executive order officially changing the name to Lake America. The order directed the Interior Department to make the name swap on the government’s Geographic Names Information System pronto.
“Canada has been ripping us off for a long time on trade, very sadly,” Trump said after he signed the order. “Even the military, you know, we defend Canada for nothing. We don’t get anything.”
The president followed it up on Saturday morning by posting a funny AI video “showing a terrifying army of mutant Canadian geese with machine guns” patrolling the lake on his behalf, as Mediaite’s Kathianne Boniello put it.
Trump dubbed the geese “Donald Ducks” in his caption for the clip, which appeared to show the Toronto skyline in the background. The reaction to the geese video seemed to spur the encore post from the president.
