Trump Goes Waaaay Out There As He Names What’s ‘Really The Threat’ To America

President Donald Trump on Tuesday named what he considers to be the real threat to the United States.

It’s not Iran, the nation he’s been at war with since February. It’s not China, a country he frequently attacks verbally and recently accused of election interference. And it’s not Russia – or any other nation at all.

It’s American states and cities with Democratic majorities.

During a Fox News interview, Trump defended data centers and attacked the communities that have restricted or outright blocked the massive, power-hungry facilities behind artificial intelligence, cloud platforms and more.

“Data centers, if you look at the stats, everything’s good around them,” Trump said. “Now, the thing they should look at is, blue states and blue cities. Cities run by Democrats. Because that’s really the threat to the country. Because they’re a disaster.”

Trump has increasingly ― and falsely ― attacked Democrats as “communists” and slammed cities with Democratic majorities.

“They’re all dirty,” Trump said of blue cities earlier this week. “They’re filthy dirty.”

He used the word “dirty” at least eight times last week during a similar rant against blue cities, and threw in words like “filthy,” “grimy” and “disgusting” for good measure.

“The people are, I hate to say this, not clean. OK?” he added.
