Trump Family Hypes UFC Coins With Up to $12,000 Price

As President Donald Trump heads to a UFC event outside the White House on Sunday, his family’s business ties are pushing “Freedom 250” themed silver and gold coins for as much as $12,000 each—priced to commemorate America’s 250th birthday and a “defining patri
President Donald Trump is set to spend his birthday Sunday watching a bloody UFC brawl outside the White House—while his family’s business world pushes the fight’s branding in a different direction: gold and silver coins priced at up to $12,000 apiece.
The Trump Organization. run by the president’s sons Eric and Donald Jr. has partnered with a multibillion-dollar mixed martial arts company to sell a collection of “Freedom 250”-themed silver and gold coins. The coins are branded with the president’s face and come in a case that features a label with his signature on it.
Those coins are set to drop Tuesday. The price range runs from nearly $250 to $12,000 each, and the design also includes a portrait of Trump’s UFC boss, Dana White, on the label.
The medallions are billed as a way to commemorate both America’s 250th birthday and what the marketing calls a “defining patriotic moment” between Trump and the UFC. That language comes from the website of Trump Coins, which also says it partners with the Trump Organization. The site even suggests the president “designed” the medallions and other coins.
Trump has proudly backed the coins, and his likeness is apparently cleared for use. Yet the relationship isn’t being described in identical terms from every side. Trump Coins also claims that the Trump Organization doesn’t manufacture or sell the medallions. Exactly how much the Trump Organization financially benefits from its “partnership” with Trump Coins is left unclear.
The money pitch lands alongside another politically entangled layer around the fight itself: the UFC event is set to air on a streaming platform operated by a Trump-aligned CEO.
A lawsuit filed by a watchdog group that aims to block the event from taking place on Sunday is still in play. awaiting further judicial review. For now. the coins continue to march toward Tuesday’s release. as the White House birthday weekend builds into both a spectacle in public—and a sales pitch built to match the moment.

So is this like a real coin or just merch with his face? $12k is wild.
Freedom 250?? America’s 250th birthday isn’t even a thing I remember them saying, so this feels like marketing spin. Next thing you know it’s NFTs too.
I mean if he “cleared” his likeness that means he designed them right? The article says the website suggests he designed them, so that’s basically confirmation. Either way Dana White on the label… just seems like a tax write-off scheme.
UFC outside the White House and coins dropping Tuesday… sounds like the whole thing is staged. Also the lawsuit is “in play” but they’re still selling like nothing matters. People keep saying it’s patriotic but it’s really just branding, sorry.
