Trump Cheers Spencer Pratt for Los Angeles Mayor Bid

Trump backs – President Donald Trump said he wants Spencer Pratt to succeed in his Los Angeles mayoral run, citing Pratt’s reputation as a Trump loyalist. Pratt, meanwhile, has framed the support he wants as coming from moms focused on safety in Los Angeles.

President Donald Trump’s take on Spencer Pratt didn’t come with a policy pitch or a campaign strategy—just a blunt show of loyalty.

Trump said he’d like Pratt to do well in his Los Angeles mayoral bid because he’s heard the reality star is a MAGA supporter. The president was asked about Pratt at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on Wednesday morning. where he compared their shared reality TV pasts. noting Pratt ran for office back in 2015 “just like” Trump.

Trump also made it clear he doesn’t personally know Pratt. Still, his message to the campaign trail was simple: if Pratt is “rocking with” him, Trump said he’s “rocking with” Pratt.

Pratt. a fellow reality star. hasn’t exactly wrapped that backing in warm terms since he stepped into a contest shaped by heavy Democratic politics. When asked about Trump’s support, Pratt told TMZ, “Everybody wants me to succeed because L.A. is the most important city in the country. ” and added. “The only support I need is from moms that wanna feel safe in Los Angeles. I’m laser focused on that.”.

Trump also cautioned that Pratt’s path won’t be easy in California. The president claimed the people who run the elections are dishonest, and he added an unusual remark involving religion—saying he needed Jesus Christ to come down from Heaven to combat what he described as Democrat dishonesty.

The broader campaign stakes are already baked in. Pratt has been running on attacks against incumbent Mayor Karen Bass and California Governor Gavin Newsom, both of whom are described as being on Trump’s “you-know-what” list.

And the entertainment machinery could follow Pratt into City Hall. If Pratt wins, the plan—according to what has already been reported about the campaign—is for cameras to track his every move in office. Pratt, Heidi Montag, and their kids would be part of a new docuseries.

  1. Wait so moms want safety and Trump says he needs Jesus to stop Democrats?? That’s… a lot. Also who even runs LA without cameras every 5 seconds? I’m confused.

  2. I thought Pratt already lost like in 2015 or something? Maybe I’m mixing him up with that other reality dude. But yeah Trump saying he doesn’t know him is funny, he still claims him anyway.

  3. This feels like the whole thing is just a reality show disguised as politics. Like if you’re MAGA, you get the spotlight, and if you’re not, you’re ‘dishonest’ or whatever. And then Jesus has to come down? I can’t tell if it’s a joke anymore.
