Trump calls a mystery woman his “great daughter”

The weekend post landed like a note slipped into the national conversation—only this one came with a caption that didn’t match the people President Donald Trump is normally talking about.
On Saturday evening, Trump shared what appeared to be a decades-old image on Truth Social. In the caption, he wrote: “Great daughter,” followed by “My Honor!!!” Trump did not add any further explanation about who he meant.
Trump has two daughters, Ivanka and Tiffany. Neither of them is pictured in the image Trump posted, according to the account of the image that has since circulated with observers trying to make sense of his wording.
A newspaper reported that the woman in the photo is likely Margo Catsimatidis, the wife of billionaire supermarket owner John Catsimatidis. Catsimatidis, a longtime Trump ally and mega-donor, also owns WABC radio in New York and is one of the station’s hosts.
The newspaper also said the photo appears to have been taken at Camp David—where Trump spent the weekend—at some point during Bill Clinton’s presidency, based on the decor.
If the post is connected to the Catsimatidis family, attention then naturally shifts to their daughter, Andrea Catsimatidis. Andrea Catsimatidis is chair of the Manhattan Republican Party and has been a Trump supporter.
The family connection is visible in a separate photo that includes Andrea Catsimatidis, Margo Catsimatidis, and John Catsimatidis at a July 28, 2017 event—an Alzheimer’s Association Hosts Rita Hayworth Gala Hamptons Kickoff Event in Water Mill, New York.
On Sunday night. Andrea Catsimatidis appeared to confirm that Trump’s “great daughter” caption was aimed at her when she shared Trump’s initial post on X and replied directly. In her message, she wrote: “Thank you Mr President!. Thank you for inviting me to your birthday party, it was an amazing tribute filled with so much American pride. And thank you for everything you are doing for America!”.
The moment has a small. personal surface—and still it’s hard not to read it as bigger than a simple compliment. Trump’s caption didn’t name anyone. The image didn’t show his known daughters. So when the Catsimatidis family stepped into the gap with a prompt public response. the confusion turned into something else entirely: a public identification of who the president was honoring.
For now, Trump’s post stands as it was posted—an image, a caption, and “My Honor!!!”—with the explanation arriving not from the White House, but from the person closest to the misunderstanding.

Why is he calling some random woman “great daughter” like we’re all supposed to just know? Lol.
So wait, he posted an old photo and everyone is like “it’s this lady”?? That seems kinda weird. If it’s his daughter, why not just say it instead of playing detective.
This is getting blown way out of proportion. Probably just meant “great daughter” like generically, like girl power or something. Also the article says two daughters but maybe Tiffany was in the pic and they can’t tell? I mean, decades ago, come on.
“My Honor!!!” sounds like he’s complimenting some donor family or whatever, not a real daughter. And the fact it’s tied to that Catsimatidis last name and a radio station is just… wow. People acting like this is normal, but it’s still kinda creepy to be captioning photos like that with no explanation.
