Trinity Rodman debuts new look as she supports boyfriend Ben Shelton in US Open semifinal… days after he snubbed her in victory speech

Soccer sensation Trinity Rodman was once again in her boyfriend Ben Shelton’s box as she showed love for the tennis star at the US Open.
The Washington Spirit forward was back in the stands at Flushing Meadows as Shelton faced fellow American Frances Tiafoe in the semifinals of the Grand Slam.
The USWNT star has been a constant presence at the tennis star’s matches throughout the tournament in New York City, acting as somewhat of a good luck charm as he stormed his way through to the semifinals.
And Friday night’s all-American showdown was no different as Rodman returned to the stands, making the journey from Washington and her team’s training just two days before the Spirit’s next game.
Rodman was spotted wearing a blue shirt and matching miniskirt, completing the look with a backwards white cap. She changed up her appearance for the occasion, showing up with fiery red tresses.
With the Spirit’s next game on Sunday, the soccer player, who is the daughter of NBA legend Dennis Rodman, would be hoping that Shelton’s does not run as late as his quarterfinal clash against Carlos Alcaraz, which didn’t wrap up until 3:30am on Thursday morning.

Despite the late finish, Rodman made the mad dash back down to the capital to report for Spirit training the next morning.
However, Friday’s match could marks Rodman’s last appearance at Flushing Meadows this year. With Washington facing the Boston Legacy in the NWSL on Sunday at 1pm, it is unlikely that she will be able to attend the men’s final, should Shelton make it through.
Her show of support on Friday comes after Shelton forgot to mention her in his victory speech following his win over Alcaraz.
The match did not start until after 10:30pm ET and by the time Shelton hit the final point of a five-set epic, it was 3:33am ET.
But fans stayed late into the night, locked in as the pair played out an absorbing encounter.
Shelton’s friends and family were among those to stick it out, with Shelton shouting out his ‘best friend and sister’ and suggesting they should be given the day off work just a few hours later.
But as the camera panned to his players’ box, Rodman was seen shrugging her shoulders and seemingly responding: ‘What about me?’ as Shelton’s friend laughed.
‘For me it’s always about the people in the crowd,’ Shelton began his speech.

‘Whether it’s about my coaches and my team over there, or the city of New York who showed up tonight until 3 am, with the USA chants until the very end, that’s what kept me going and got me the win in the end.
‘It’s incredible. I always say this is the greatest sports city in the world. This is the greatest stadium in the world.
‘I am just hoping my best friend and sister do not have to be at work at 6 am in three hours. It would be huge for them to be given the day off.’
‘I am so grateful. Being in front of you guys tonight is an absolute honor, sharing the court with Carlos is an absolute honor, and I cherish every moment that I have out here.’
When the match finished and Shelton saluted the crowd, a passionate Rodman gestured his ‘phone down’ celebration in a sweet moment.
