Tricia Helfer Brings OnlyFans Control at 52

Tricia Helfer, 52, says she quietly launched her OnlyFans page about a month ago and is now speaking out to reduce the stigma—framing the move as a fun, self-directed creative outlet with plans for content, livestream Q&As, and donations to animal charities.
Tricia Helfer didn’t make a big splash when she stepped into OnlyFans. She quietly launched her page about a month ago, and now, at 52, she’s ready to say out loud why she did it—and what she wants people to stop assuming.
The Battlestar Galactica alum. who has also starred in Lucifer. told People she’s entering a “do what I want” era. “At my age, I am in my ‘do what I want’ phase of life,” Helfer said. “I’m tired of being told what to do and how to do it. I’m looking at it as something to have fun with and something that I can be in control of.”.
Helfer is also pitching the platform as a way to soften judgment. She said she hopes her choice helps “take the stigma off a little bit.”
Her subscribers can expect a mix of professional photos, selfies, videos, and livestream Q&As. She added that she’s keeping with what she calls “the sexier side” of her brand—but not only that. “It’ll be a mix of artistic shots with great photographers and pictures and videos of quiet and silly times at home feeding my goats or weeding my garden. ” she explained. “I posted a picture [recently] of me out in my garden watering my plants and I had my work boots on. but it was hot outside so I was in a bikini.”.
Helfer admitted she likes the shock value sometimes, saying she enjoys “shocking a little bit.” But she framed the decision as something broader than provocation. “It ultimately sees it as an extension of [her] creative, fun and flirty side,” she said.
She also linked the move to her past media moments. The actress previously posed for Playboy in 2007 while promoting Battlestar Galactica, and she said OnlyFans feels like “an extension and a modern day growth from those types of press outlets from the past.”
Money, too, comes with a purpose. Helfer revealed that part of the income earned through her OnlyFans will go toward animal charities. “Animal charity specifically has always been close to my heart,” she said. “I’ve done it at least the last 20 years. So if I have any success with OnlyFans. then it will actually help me be able to donate more money than I already do and stay involved in ways than I already do.”.
And she isn’t the only celebrity making the leap. Recently, Shannon Elizabeth also joined OnlyFans and spoke about the surprising amount of money she has earned on the platform.

OnlyFans is still OnlyFans lol
So she’s doing this to reduce stigma but also “sexier side”?? That doesn’t add up. Also “feeding goats” sounds like an ad campaign more than a real thing.
I think it’s actually kinda smart to control the narrative, like she’s tired of people telling her what to do. But I saw someone say she’s not doing nude stuff? Like is it just pics and garden pics? Idk I’m confused already.
At 52?? I mean good for her I guess but I don’t get why everyone pretends it’s charity first. If she says animal charities that’s great but OF always comes down to clicks. Also she was on Playboy like 2007 so it’s basically the same thing, just newer platform right?
