‘The Dog Stars’ – Best Times to Use the Bathroom During 1 Hour & 58 Minute Movie | Just Jared

On Friday (August 28), the new post-apocalyptic film The Dog Stars hit theaters. The movie stars Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin, Margaret Qualley, Guy Pearce, and Benedict Wong.
The film tells the story of Hig (Elordi), a young pilot who, together with a military survivalist, Bangley (Brolin), has carved out an efficient but isolated homestead in a brutal post-apocalyptic world. But when Hig receives a mysterious radio transmission, he ventures into the unknown in search of the hope and humanity he still believes exist.
The Dog Stars has a runtime of 1 hour and 58 minutes (118 minutes), but it’s always a good idea to plan ahead if you know you frequently have to go to the bathroom in the theater.

When Bangley says, “Like the old saying, ‘Shoot first and inquire afterwards,’” that’s a good time to run to the bathroom for a quick 3 minute break.
While you’re gone, Hig goes for a plane ride with Jasper next to him. Hig turns off the engine and glides peacefully in the sky. He then hears a voice on the radio, but when he tries to answer, the signal keeps breaking up.
31 minutes and 45 seconds
If you aren’t the biggest fan of bloody violence, you may want to take a 3 minute bathroom break after Hig whispers into the walkie-talkie, “Bangley where the f–k are you?”
While you’re gone, men attack Hig and Jasper jumps into action to defend him. As the dog attacks one of the men, he has a knife and Jasper gets injured.
55 minutes and 25 seconds
When Pops says, “I would appreciate the axe being brought back sharpened,” feel free to take a nearly 4 minute bathroom break.
During that time, there’s a montage of Hig and Cima working together to clear a runway before Pops comes and helps Hig cut down trees.
There’s also a scene of Bagnely in his sniper tower at night. He spots four people at the edge of the forest and shoots them all.
