Texas A&M police release shocking list of offenses and arrests during school’s first game of the college football season

Texas A&M’s season opener witnessed more drama in the stands than it did on the field at the weekend. 

The Aggies kicked off their 2026 season with a whitewash 50-0 win over the Missouri State Bears on Saturday and while it wasn’t much of a challenge for Texas A&M on the field, its police were put to task in the stands. 

As quarterback Marcel Reed led the No. 8 Aggies to the rampant win, College Station went wild – leading to a lengthy list of incidents. 

Texas A&M Police’s official X account released reports of a number of arrests throughout Saturday’s game. 

At least five people were ejected from the game by police for public intoxication, while there were four reports of underage drinking with fans being cited for Minor in Possession. 

One man arrested for Public Intoxication is said to have been belligerent and wanted to fight a female fan in the row behind him. When questioned by police, he told them to take him to jail.

Police were contacted when a contract employee at Kyle Field became ‘agitated’ when told by their supervisor to tuck their shirt in. They then became belligerent with officers and was ejected.

One spectator was ejected from the game for ‘making fun’ of officers while holding a Long Drink – a canned cocktail that wasn’t sold inside the stadium.

Two individuals were arrested for Criminal Trespass for attempting to enter the Wellness Center to gain access to the stadium. They had previously been stopped from entering the Bright Football Complex by police. 

However, the most concerning was a report of Invasive Visual Recording from the third deck of Kyle Field. 

Manuel Ramirez, 61, was arrested after being caught allegedly taking non-consensual ‘upskirt’ videos of a female fan, according to arrest records obtained by KBTX. 

Security staff were approached by a witness who reported seeing a man recording up a woman’s shorts. 

Officers then located Ramirez and saw him raise his phone above his shoulder, pointing it toward a woman standing on the elevated ramp above him as they approached. They confirmed that the phone was recording at the time. 

The victim was notified of the incident and chose to press charges. Invasive Visual Recording is a state jail felony in Texas.

Texas A&M took over the investigation, seizing Ramirez’s phone as evidence and booking him into Brazos County Jail.

He was released on Monday on a $15,000 bond, according to booking records.

Ramirez was reportedly at the game to work. However, he is not a Texas A&M employee but rather he is employed by SSC Services for Education, a third-party custodial services provider. 

The company terminated his employment following the incident on Saturday. 

‘As a third-party custodial services provider, we at SSC take the safety of students and the entire community very seriously,’ a statement read. 

‘We are aware of the incident at Kyle Field and are cooperating with the appropriate authorities. The individual’s employment has been terminated effective immediately. The conduct is unacceptable and inconsistent with our values and the standards we expect of every member of our team.’
