This is so heartbreaking she was only 19 years old. A laundry room of all places that is just terrifying honestly. I hope they throw the book at this guy and he never sees the outside again, no kid should have to worry about doing their laundry at college.
wait so this happened at UW Seattle but he turned himself in at Bellevue police which is a totally different city so does that mean he was hiding out over there the whole time or what. I went to school near there and Bellevue is like not even close really depending on where you are so that seems weird to me. also the article says off campus housing but then says campus housing building so which one is it cause those are two different things and nobody seems to notice that. media always gets details wrong and then people share it like its gospel
I seen on Facebook this was actually a roommate dispute gone wrong and the university knew about problems in that building for months but did nothing. not surprised honestly these schools care more about their image than keeping students safe. my cousin went to UW and said the housing there has always had issues. prayers for the family either way this is just awful and the president putting out a statement on monday means he probably knew sunday night and waited which is shady if you ask me
