Ken McNickle, the Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X runner-up, announced on Instagram that he has been diagnosed with cancer and urged others to get checked for any health concerns. He did not specify the type of cancer.
Ken McNickle, the Survivor season 33 runner-up, said he’s been diagnosed with cancer—and the message landed straight on Instagram.
The reality star, 43, competed on Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X and finished in second place. In his post. he shared that he wished he had taken care of himself “better and sooner.” He also wrote. “As I’ve said before. if you have a health concern. don’t sit on it. Get yourself checked. There’s no valid reason not to. Not one.”.
McNickle did not disclose which type of cancer he is dealing with.
Adam Klein, who won the 2016 season, replied to the post with support. Klein wrote, “I’m deeply sorry Ken that you have to go through this. You are a strong, resilient person and cancer f-ked with the wrong guy. You got this. Sending healing energy.”
For now, the focus is on Ken’s health and the reminder he shared with his followers: if something feels off, he urged people not to wait. CBS’s Survivor runner-up received an outpouring of encouragement as he begins this fight.

This is so sad. But also kinda makes me mad he didn’t say what he has?? Still, good reminder to get checked, I guess.
I saw Adam Klein comment and I’m like… why are they always so aggressive with the wording? “cancer f-ked with the wrong guy” 😬 But I’m glad he’s supporting him. Hope Ken beats it though, even without the type.
Man I hate hearing this. Survivor people always look healthy and then bam cancer. Idk if it’s from stress or whatever but if he’s 43 and didn’t catch it sooner, that’s terrifying. I wish these reality folks would talk more about what symptoms they had, not just “get checked.” Like ok but how often??
