By the time Season 2 of My Adventures with Superman turned its darkest corner, Clark Kent had been pulled into something he didn’t ask for—Brainiac’s technology stitched into his upgraded power. The difference is about to show.
In footage from the show’s third season. Clark is back in a more traditional Superman costume: the familiar red trunks. a bigger cape. and the iconic S symbol.. The shift isn’t presented as a simple wardrobe change.. The Brainiac/Kryptonian suit Clark had gained near the end of Season 2 is no longer part of his next appearance. which means his power set will be reduced when he returns.
That matters because Season 2 wasn’t just stressful for Clark—it was brutal.. Brainiac brainwashed Kara and tried to take control of Superman, turning both of them into weapons.. After Clark broke free, the upgraded suit he wore was described as a blend of Kryptonian strength and Brainiac tech.. It was a major power boost. but it was also tied directly to something Clark definitely didn’t want to cling to.
