In an interview published on Friday. May 28. the Daisy Jones & The Six actress looked back on her favorite moments from fashion’s biggest night. including a sweet reunion with actor Connor Storrie. She also tied the reunion to something far more immediate than red-carpet glamour: the two had recently shared a nerve-racking experience while traveling together.
“I was sort of clutching onto him the whole time,” Waterhouse admitted.
For Waterhouse, the Met Gala memories didn’t stop with that anxious travel moment. She said she got the chance to meet music icon Stevie Nicks, calling it “obviously a huge moment.”
There was also a prank that landed exactly how you’d hope it would at an event full of celeb chaos. Waterhouse revealed that Saturday Night Live star Marcello Hernandez introduced her to Bad Bunny while wearing old-man makeup—and claimed to be the singer’s uncle.
“He totally got me,” she laughed.
By the time the conversation turned to big personal milestones, Waterhouse’s tone shifted from surprise to excitement. She confirmed she’s among the guests invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s upcoming wedding, joking that she could even borrow ideas for her own future.
“I’m gonna go to Taylor’s wedding, and maybe I’ll get some inspiration. It will be amazing,” Waterhouse said, adding that she’s planning her own wedding to fiancé Robert Pattinson.
