Subservient Ghostface turns horror fans’ prompts into parody

Ahead of Scary Movie 6’s June 5 theatrical release, Wayans Bros. Entertainment launched Subservient Ghostface—a website where users type commands and watch a pre-filmed Ghostface react. The campaign borrows the spirit of Burger King’s Subservient Chicken stunt
By the time Scary Movie 6 hit theaters on June 5, Wayans Bros. Entertainment had already found a way to put fans in charge of its biggest horror mascot.
The company launched a website called Subservient Ghostface. On it, users type a command and watch Ghostface—masked and unmistakable—carry it out on screen. It’s built like a one-way conversation, but the payoff is instant. The gamble isn’t just about getting clicks; it’s about making the joke feel interactive. even when the “performance” is pre-made.
The concept borrows directly from Burger King’s famous Subservient Chicken stunt from 2004. swapping the chicken suit for Ghostface from Scream. And unlike what you might expect from how smooth the responses look, none of it is AI-generated. Every reaction comes from an actor who filmed an extensive library of footage in advance. and the website pulls from that footage based on the prompt you enter.
On the site, Ghostface takes almost any request seriously. You can make him sing, dance, cry, fart, poke his nose, or just stand there looking confused. Dig deeper, and the fun turns into scavenger-hunt energy—especially when prompts trigger hidden easter eggs.
Some of the commands are pure meme food. Typing “AI” makes Ghostface dump a bottle of water on the ground. a deadpan jab about the staggering amounts of water consumed by AI data centers. “Backrooms” kicks off a video that pokes fun at the Backrooms, with Ghostface no-clipping into the room from different sides. Type “Spiderman,” and three Ghostfaces show up, recreating the meme where three Spider-Men point fingers at one another.
Other prompts push the parody into recognizable pop culture territory: “Fortnite” for Ghostface’s take on the game’s iconic dance emote. “Siuuu” for Cristiano Ronaldo’s signature goal celebration. and “Make it rain” for Ghostface throwing cash around. There’s also “Kill someone” for a special bloody surprise. “Chicken” as a direct wink at the original Burger King Subservient Chicken campaign. and “Twerk” for the Scary Movie villain twerking enthusiastically.
If you’re in the mood for softer absurdity, you can ask for “make fun of Scream,” “contemplate life,” or “make tea.”
It’s a perfect match for a film that’s built on the same kind of rapid-fire audience engagement—because Scary Movie 6 itself returns after 13 years. with the original crew behind it. The latest installment is the sixth entry in the long-running comedy-horror franchise, arriving 13 years after Scary Movie 5.
The Wayans family created the series but stepped away after Scary Movie 2 in 2001. For Scary Movie 6, they returned to write the film. Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans, and Craig Wayans all co-wrote the script, and director Michael Tiddes took the helm.
The original cast reunited as well. Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Marlon Wayans, and Shawn Wayans all reprise their roles, joining several newcomers.
On screen. the movie leans hard into parody. targeting recent horror hits including Sinners. Weapons. and A Quiet Place. along with a range of other genre favorites. Even so, critics weren’t uniformly impressed. Several reviews called the jokes uneven, and some said the franchise’s signature humor was starting to feel dated.
The audience clearly disagreed. Scary Movie 6 debuted to $55 million domestically, the best opening weekend in the series’ history, and went on to gross over $215 million worldwide as of late June.
Scary Movie 6 is now playing in theaters everywhere. For anyone who missed the launch or is revisiting the idea, the Subservient Ghostface website is still live—so the masked killer is still ready to do whatever you type.

So it’s like Burger King but with Ghostface? I still don’t get why everyone’s acting like this is some huge new thing lol.
Wait they said it’s not AI generated?? That seems impossible if it responds to what you type. I feel like they’re just saying that to avoid backlash.
The fact that you can type “AI” and he dumps water is just… kinda dumb but also kinda perfect?? Like why would Ghostface care about AI data centers? Unless this is secretly about the movie plot? I didn’t read past that part.
Scary Movie 6 is coming out and they’re doing this little interactive website thing instead of actual commercials? Maybe it’s marketing genius idk. Also “Backrooms” prompts?? Sounds like they’re mixing horror with memes and calling it a strategy.
