Why would anyone climb a roof like that smh
Sounds like a complete nightmare for everyone around there. If they were throwing stuff and setting fires, how is that not automatic jail forever? Also “limited evacuations” is wild, like just how limited are we talking?
Wait so they say strangulation and threats to kill… but he didn’t come down for 6 hours? I feel like the police should’ve just got a ladder up there sooner or I dunno, “talked him out” faster. Unless he had like… a reason? Not excusing anything, just trying to understand how it lasted that long.
This is why I hate when people are like “just send negotiators” like it’s some movie. One guy injured, substantial damage to vehicles and properties, and they’re charging him with like 40 things?? Honestly sounds like he should’ve been caught way sooner before the fires got going, but maybe they couldn’t because the roof was weird or something.
