SISTIC becomes – SISTIC, the Singapore operating arm of AXS Tickets, has been appointed the official ticketing partner for the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix starting with the 2027 race, taking over end-to-end ticketing across primary sales, hospitality suite ticketing, and on

The streets of Marina Bay won’t look any different on race week—until you reach the moment tickets go on sale.

Starting with the 2027 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix. SISTIC will run official ticketing for the event as part of a new multi-year partnership announced on Tuesday. The appointment puts SISTIC in charge of end-to-end ticketing. operating across primary sales. hospitality suite ticketing. and onsite box office operations. with operational support built into the deal.

For fans, the change is about more than who sells tickets. Organisers described the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix as one of the world’s most iconic events—and one of the most complex and high-profile sporting events in the region—held as a world-class night race on the streets of Marina Bay.

Last year, the three-day event drew 300,641 fans. It is also recognised for an international audience, exceptional programming, and complex operational scale, a combination that brings its own pressure point: demand, fraud risk, and the practical challenge of getting ticketing right at scale.

SISTIC’s role, according to the partnership terms, will be delivered as part of the AXS Tickets global platform. The announcement frames SISTIC’s appointment as the bridge between deep in-market experience—described as more than three decades of leadership in Singapore—and the broader operational capabilities AXS brings through its network.

Joe Ow. Chief Executive Officer of SISTIC. said the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix is “one of the most complex and high-profile sporting events in the region.” He added that as SISTIC scales within the global AXS ticketing network. it would bring “already deep. local market expertise” together with “world-class technology” to deliver a “seamless ticketing experience for fans.”.

Clarence Lai. Singapore GP Pte Ltd’s Ticketing & Accreditation Director. said SISTIC “stood out in a highly competitive tender process” by combining “strong technological capabilities with deep local expertise.” He highlighted the company’s prior experience supporting early editions of the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix and other large-scale events. adding that it demonstrated an understanding of the event’s operational complexity and the ability to deliver with confidence.

The partnership also lands in the context of AXS’s growing footprint in the region. The announcement states that in October 2025. AXS—described as a trusted global leader in advanced ticketing and live event technology—acquired a majority stake in SISTIC. The stated purpose is to combine SISTIC’s established leadership in Singapore with expanding regional capabilities. alongside “scale. security and reliability” from the AXS Tickets global platform.

For Singapore’s live-events ecosystem, SISTIC’s expanded role also reinforces its position as the Singapore arm of AXS Tickets. 1. I don’t even get why this matters to fans if it’s “still Marina Bay.” Like ticket websites always mess up anyway. Starting 2027 though so who knows.

  2. Wait, SISTIC is Singapore right? So are they the ones who control resale too? I heard somewhere they’ll “take over end-to-end” and that usually means prices jump and you can’t find regular tickets. Also why box office on-site—doesn’t that make scalpers worse?

  3. Marina Bay “won’t look any different” but the ticket moment will, cool. I’m just trying to figure out if hospitality suites will be on a different platform or same checkout. They said 300k fans last year, so you’d think they’d have the system ready… but it’s always some new partner and then everyone’s refreshing at 10am.
